When you buy 'virtual hosting' service your website is hosted on the same server with many other websites. At 20after4 we never host more than 100 sites on a single web server, however, most hosting companies will place as many as 500 domains on a single server which can cause a severe reduction in the performance and stability of your website.

A 'Virtual Server' solution such as our Platinum plan gives you more flexability than even our 'gold plan' can provide because you have a private installation of the linux operating system with root access. Your virtual server is isolated from the rest of the server so that other users on the server won't effect your virtual server.

When you host your website on our Platinum plan we guarantee that your site will reside on a single server with no more than 5 other virtual servers. The very same web server could support up to 100 websites (Or more) but since you are sharing with only 5 other virtual servers your web site will be extremely fast and reliable at all times. Also since there are more resources available on the server, you will be able to use more memory, hard disk space and bandwidth than would be possible on a crowded web server.
